PEOPLE: A CASE STUDY RANNI TALUK

                                                                        ABSTRACT
 This study is based on the impact of crusher units on environment and people done by the three B .ed students. This work is in the survey method and the result and discussion is analysed through the graphical method. Crusher unit play a very important role in construction works and also that provide employment opportunities to the people. Crushers may be used to reduce the size or change the form of waste materials, so they can more easily disposed of or recycled, or to reduce the size of a solid mix of raw materials( as in rock ), so that pieces of different composition can be differentiate. So here this study made an attempt to analyse the impact of environment and thereby the development of the society where they provide. I think it is better to select a survey method to understand impact of crusher units on environment and people. The primary objective of the study is to find out the relationship between crusher units and environment. Both primary and secondary data are used for the study. Primary data are collected by using questionnaires. Personal interview method was followed for collecting information from selected crusher units in Ranni Taluk. Secondary data are collected from various journal books, other journals and media.

In this study we find that a crusher is a machine designed to reduce large rocks into smaller rocks gravel or rock dust. The importance of crusher units shows that the increased grow any manufacturing functions. Crusher units provide employment opportunities to people. Cement industry and business industries disclose this important. Through crusher units rock and metal are converted in to rock powder which are used for the construction of building production of needs.

Rocks are converted into different types of products. We understood that more demerits are occurred with crusher units. The people situated nearness to the crusher units felt more difficulties. Then crusher unit sound pollution and different disease incurred due to rock powder when cutting rocks affected as our buildings. Agricultural productivity is declining and water pollution is occurred. Establishment of crusher units leads to the household leave from there to another place. Through units occurred demerits more than merits.
